The Gdańsk Container Terminal Stock Company (GTK S.A.) has been operating at the Port of Gdańsk since September 9th, 1998. Our terminal is situated inside the old estuary of the Visla River called the Inner Port of Gdańsk.
Owing to the consistently implemented policy that favours the client's interests and comfort, as well as the efforts to maintain high quality standards of services, Gdansk Container Terminal established its reputation as a friendly port.

Major advantages of the Gdansk Container Terminal include: services that ensure client's quick and efficient contacts with administration offices and institutions, comprehensive terminal and depot services, a free zone facilities at the Port of Gdansk, reliable rail and road transportation links with the port’s hinterland in Poland, as well as excellent transit connections to Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Due to large container volume growth we plan to purchase additional handling equipment and increase storage capacity of the terminal laden containers by hardening of additional 15000 square meters of storage yard, which can allow to increase our annual turnover capacity upto 100.000 TEU.

More than 39 famous shipping companies decided to accept GTK as an entry port for their containers. Our terminal co-operates with APL, COSCO, CMA-CGM, CSCL, CSAV, EVERGREEN, HAPAG LLOYD, HANJIN, HAMBURG SUED, IRISL, K-LINE, LIBRA, MISC, MITSUI, NYK, NORASIA, OOCL, UASC, ZIM and others.

The terminal can service ships of a maximum capacity of 20,000 DWT. This quay can service ships operated in Lo/Lo and Ro/Ro systems. Situated at the quay, the Temporary Storage Warehouse with identification number PL322000MC0023 offers the use of the abridged procedure for container clearance.
