Damen Shipyards Gdynia new assembling hall has been officially inaugurated.

Damen’s Investment Plan assumes execution of complete vessels “under the roof”, which guarantees high quality and improves the working conditions of shipyard workers.

Damen Opens New Assembling Hall at Gdynia SiteThe first assembling hall was built in 2003. On 20.01.2014 Allcon handed-over another assembling hall, which can be also used as an outfitting hall. It is 64 meters long, 17 meters wide and 23.8 meters high. It is equipped with two 32-ton cranes and trestle bridge for section transportation.
In following years, the shipyard plans to construct another two halls, which finally moves the entire production into enclosed area.
