On 9 January 2014, the Polish Register of Shipping signed a contract with an Italian Company ROSETTI MARINO S.P.A. fulfilling the role of Project Manager for the project of "Petrobaltic" drilling platform conversion to the initial oil and gas processing centre permanently seated on seabed.  

Within the framework of the contract, PRS shall approve technical documentation for the object conversion for conformity with own rules, national law regulations and international standards.  

It is the succesive contract signed within last months to cover PRS participation in activities associated with the change of status as well as conversion and maintenance of platforms owned by LOTOS Petrobaltic S.A.
