Portland Port Are Pleased To Welcome Inter Marine UK's Headquarters To The Port Estate

On 9th January 2018, Portland Port were pleased to officially sign lease documents with Inter Marine UK Limited, who will now have their UK headquarters based in the port estate.  

The Inter Marine Group has been established since 1990; they have created a modern, international and market-competitive group of companies which cover marine engineering, international trade, employment agency and shipping services.

The services they will be offering from Portland, include fabrication packages from hull repairs to deck and tank renewals, they have extensive experience in commercial shipbuilding and can offer complete project management packages.  Inter Marine also specialise in pipe work system design, installation and upgrade, mechanical services, aluminium welding and fabrication of superstructures as well as galley and electric upgrades.

Mr Bill Reeves, the CEO of Portland Port said “It is great news for Portland Port and the local economy that Inter Marine Group have decided to base their UK headquarters on Portland.  There are exciting new job opportunities being offered by Inter Marine, with more to come as they become established.  We wish Inter Marine every success with their new venture and look forward to a long productive working relationship with them.”
