From October 7–9, 2025, Gdańsk will become the heart of the maritime industry, as it hosts BALTEXPO — one of the most important events for the sector in Poland and the Baltic Sea region. This year's 23rd edition of the International Maritime and Military Exhibition, organized for the second time entirely by the International Gdańsk Fair (MTG), promises to be even more dynamic, combining an extensive exhibition area with a rich conference program.
— Only a few months remain until the launch of the second BALTEXPO edition under MTG’s leadership. It’s another major milestone in the development of our initiative and a testament to the tangible results of our efforts. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust our partners have shown by joining this endeavor. Our goal is to make this fair a platform for connecting businesses, enabling knowledge exchange, building valuable contacts, and inspiring innovation. We encourage all interested exhibitors to join us and help shape the future of the maritime industry in Poland. Together, we’re creating an event full of benefits and opportunities — not only for maritime companies and decision-makers, but also for the scientific sector and startups that will have a chance to present their ideas to potential partners, said Andrzej Bojanowski, President of the International Gdańsk Fair.
Participants can look forward to three days of exhibition meetings featuring over 200 exhibitors from Poland and abroad, engaging conference sessions, and a variety of accompanying events, such as study visits to significant local projects and investments. The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of National Defense, the Maritime Offices in Gdynia and Szczecin, the Maritime Search and Rescue Service, and SEA Europe. Highlights of the program include:
Baltic Ports Conference – A prestigious event organized by the Baltic Ports Organization, gathering port leaders, maritime experts, and representatives of government and institutions from across the Baltic Sea region.
Education and Career Day – Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, this initiative targets not only students and young professionals, but anyone seeking career opportunities in the maritime industry or considering a career shift.
Startup Zone – In collaboration with Infoshare, organizers will provide a dedicated space for innovative young tech companies to showcase solutions for the maritime, offshore, and new-technology-driven sectors.
Conference Program – Over three intense days, BALTEXPO 2025 will host expert panels, debates, and presentations addressing key issues such as digitalization, the green transformation of the maritime sector, port development, maritime safety, and international cooperation in the maritime economy.
Although the main event will take place in October, BALTEXPO 2025 will symbolically begin in June with the World Shipbuilders' Gathering, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Shipbuilding Institute at Gdańsk University of Technology. This gathering of academia and industry will serve as the first major highlight of this year’s edition, emphasizing the maritime sector’s tradition, innovation, and strength.
BALTEXPO 2025 is more than just a trade fair — it’s a platform for sharing knowledge, forging international relationships, and inspiring the entire industry. We invite all those interested to take part — and help make Gdańsk the place where the future of the maritime economy is shaped.
