
Pleased to advise that APL have taken delivery of "APL Temasek" the first in a series of ten 14,000-TEU vessels that are being constructed by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. These vessels will be APL\'s largest and most fuel efficient In service and will assist to reduce unit capital and operating costs, meet future growth needs and replace older and smaller chartered vessels that will be returned to their owners. Upon delivery the new vessels will enable APL, to provide a more efficient, reliable service to customers. The ships will include features designed to conserve fuel and reduce environmental impacts.
"APL Temasek" will face into LP4 in Ningbo on 15th March 2013, LP4 is part of the G6 alliances service network on the Asia to Europe trade and call at Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Singapore, Le Havre, Southampton, Hamburg and Rotterdam, before heading back to Asia the service call in Jeddah. In Hamburg Polish cargo will connect to the weekly Poland Express feeder service operated by APL calling at Bremerhaven, Hamburg and Gdynia (BCT & GCT)
