
Nauta Shiprepair Yard fulfils further contracts for the largest Polish ship owner – Polsteam Shipping Company. In the nearest days three vessels of Polsteam and her subsidiaries shall visit the Nauta docks in Gdynia.
On 7th July 2014 a car ferry m/f Gryf entered the floating dock no. 4. The vessel was built in 1990 and maintains a ferry connection between Świnoujście and Trelleborg in Sweden. The next vessel to visit Nauta is a handy – size bulker m/v Iryda. She will undergo coating works, steel works, piping works and mechanical works. Some works in the holds, on hatches and on the deck cranes shall be also performed. At the beginning of August works on board a 189m long car and train ferry named m/f Wolin shall commence.
This year Nauta has already completed works on three other vessels of Polsteam, namely m/v Nogat, m/v Isa and m/v Orawa. In total 73 vessel belonging to Scandinavian, German, Dutch and Polish shipowners were repaired in Nauta during the first half of the year.
