It was the February 2013 when a Full Mission Simulator was delivered and successfully installed by PBP Enamor ltd engineers in Baltic Fishery Training Centre in Kołobrzeg.
The simulator can be used for training of auxiliary staff, operations and management, and its functions enable you to perform specific training for pilots and members of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service in accordance with the STCW Convention with regard to: maintaining the security of a navigational watch, the use of radar and ARPA for the purpose of safety of navigation, emergency response, travel planning and conduct of navigation and ship maneuvering.
The simulator allows the students to confront with any hydro-meteorological conditions such as visibility, rain and snow, sea state, wind and wind fields, ocean currents and tides. During the training it will also be possible to simulate damage to any of the navigation and propulsion systems which will help the trainees to get familiar with extreme situations.
With the Full Mission Simulator it is also possible to carry out training on the BFTC\'s own fifteen models of ships and ?over two hundred models of cell?: fishing vessels, container ships, bulk carriers, tugs, tankers. In addition, the tool offers ten areas of training which simulate the most important shipping lanes and ports, such as the English Channel, Gibraltar, the Suez Canal, Europort, the Danish Straits, Gulf of Gdansk and Pomeranian? with ports located in Gdansk and Gdynia.
Transferred under an agreement with the Maritime Academy in Szczecin, the simulator is equipped with a visual omnidirectional system (360° in the horizontal display), two radars (X and S), two Navi Sailor 4000 ECDIS stations (Master Backup), Pathfinder ST MK2 ECDIS, conning, AIS, GMDSS console, maneuver equipment and fishing gear.
The simulator can be used in the IMO model courses such as:

IMO Model Course 1.22 - Ship Simulator and Bridge Team Work;
IMO Model Course 1.08 - The Operational use of Automatic Radar Plotting Aid APRA;
