Merweborg and Vechtborg pass in the yard hole standard repairs, including maintenance and painting work on the hulls, repair of hatch covers and cargo spaces and deck machinery and ship systems. Repairs are carried out in connection with the change of flag, and classification society - the ships come back under the Dutch flag. Both units are universal bulk carriers with a high ice class. Slightly larger the Merweborg, measuring 134.5 x 16.5 m and Vechtborg is 132.2 m long and 15.8 m wide.

This is another case where MSR Gryfia woks for this ship-owner.  In March this year, two twin units of that company were also repaired in Szczecin. Vaasaborg require the repair docking, while Vancouverborg underwent emergency repairs, which did not require docking.

Royal Wagenborg is an international shipping company that operates a modern fleet of 180 vessels to offer logistic solutions to international, exporting industries. The fleet largely consists of box shaped, ice-strengthened dry-cargo vessels. Royal Wagenborg is active in the dry-cargo segment with ice-strengthened bulk carriers and multi-purpose vessels.
