In March 2023, the Gdańsk-based Naftoport handled 3.2 million tons of crude oil and liquid fuels, the company announced.


As Naftoport Gdańsk announced in a press release, March 2023 was another record month for the Terminal's operations in terms of the handled cargo volume.


“In March, 3.2 million tons of crude oil and liquid fuels were handled, which is the largest monthly tonnage handled in the Company's history. In the entire first quarter, however, Naftoport handled 8.7 million tonnes of transshipments.


"The volumes handled by Naftoport cover the entire domestic demand for crude oil supplies and marine fuel trade, also supplementing the raw material for foreign contractors" – emphasized in the release.


According to the company's website, the largest monthly transshipments at the Naftoport terminal were recorded in March 2023 (3.2 million tonnes), January 2023 (over 2.9 million tonnes), September 2022 (over 2.6 million tonnes), October 2022 (over 2.5 million tonnes), February 2023 (over 2.4 million tonnes) and May 2019 (over 2.4 million tonnes).
