The Industrial Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu, ARP), in strategic partnership with GRI Renewable Industries and Baltic Towers, is commencing a new investment initiative aimed at supporting the development of offshore wind energy. This marks a groundbreaking event for the Polish renewable energy sector.

The construction of a new offshore tower factory in Gdansk, a strategic alliance between The Industrial Development Agency, the Spanish company GRI Renewable Industries, and Baltic Towers, established specifically for this investment, is set to significantly advance the development of the wind energy sector in Poland. The new investment, located in Gdansk with access to the waterfront, involves building a facility for manufacturing offshore towers for the largest planned wind turbines with a capacity exceeding 15 MW. This modern production plant, designed and built in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards, will have the production capacity to realize over 150 towers annually. The new facility will meet the highest technical, quality, and environmental standards demanded by key clients in the wind offshore market.

Thanks to the application of innovative solutions from the design stage, the newly constructed plant will be environmentally friendly and worker-friendly. Over 500 highly specialized jobs will be created in the modern and prospective offshore wind energy sector.
