Polish companies have an opportunity to join the international supply chain of one of the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturers. Vestas is inviting businesses to work with it on the production, construction and servicing of onshore and offshore wind installations. Vestas Supplier Day 2026 will take place in Szczecin on 25 November.
Participants will learn about the company’s procurement needs and supplier requirements, and will also have the opportunity to meet representatives of its key departments. The event is intended to help Polish companies seize business opportunities arising from the development of wind energy in Poland and across Europe.
The development of offshore wind in the Baltic Sea is opening up new opportunities for Polish industry. Multi-billion investments in wind farms are generating demand for components, technologies and specialist services. For domestic companies, this is an opportunity to secure new contracts and join international supply chains.
Western Pomerania is one of the centres of Poland’s developing wind industry. Vestas manufactures wind turbine nacelles in Szczecin and operates a blade production plant in nearby Goleniów. Both factories form part of the company’s global manufacturing network, supplying technologies for the wind energy sector in markets around the world.
Vestas now wants to engage with more Polish companies interested in working with the group. The opportunity will come at Vestas Supplier Day 2026, scheduled to take place in Szczecin on 25 November.
“Making full use of the potential of offshore wind in the Baltic Sea requires more than simply building wind farms. A strong domestic industry, capable of supplying components, technologies and specialist services, must be the foundation. It is important to us that Polish companies have a genuine opportunity to participate in the development of this sector and benefit from its potential, including in overseas markets. That is why we are inviting businesses to meet with us directly. We want to show them what kind of partners we are looking for, what requirements we set and how to start working with Vestas,” says Jagna Kubańska-Łyczakowska, Head of Public Affairs Poland and Baltics at Vestas.
Who can become a Vestas supplier?
Supplier Day is aimed both at existing Vestas partners and at companies that are considering entering the wind energy sector.
The organisers are inviting, among others, manufacturers of steel structures and mechanical and electrical components; logistics and transport companies; construction, installation and maintenance service providers; engineering businesses; and suppliers of services to the maritime and offshore industries.
Opportunities for cooperation extend beyond the supply of parts used directly in turbine manufacturing. Vestas also relies on services related to plant maintenance, logistics, project delivery and the day-to-day operations of its manufacturing facilities.
During the event, company representatives will present Vestas’ procurement strategy, current business needs and requirements concerning quality, safety and sustainability. They will also explain the process for qualifying new suppliers.
An important part of the programme will be individual B2B meetings with Vestas representatives responsible for, among other areas, procurement, production, logistics, service operations and the delivery of onshore and offshore projects. Meetings will be held at themed tables, with their organisation taking account of the participants’ business profiles and declared areas of interest.
For Polish companies, working with Vestas could offer an opportunity to diversify their operations and gain access to orders for energy projects outside Poland as well. It is also a chance to develop domestic local content – the participation of Polish companies in supplying goods and services to the wind energy sector.
How to attend Vestas Supplier Day
Vestas Supplier Day 2026 will take place on 25 November at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Szczecin, from 9:00 to 16:30.
Attendance is free of charge, but prior registration and confirmation from the organisers are required.
