Ocean Network Express (ONE) is launching a new weekly container service, Poland Egypt Express (PEX), linking Gdańsk with Bremerhaven and Alexandria. The first call at Gdańsk is scheduled for 15–17 October. For the Polish port, this means a new direct connection with the Egyptian market.

The new service will operate on the rotation Gdańsk – Bremerhaven – Alexandria, with Alexandria served only on the southbound leg. The service will operate on a weekly basis.

The first sailing will be operated by the container ship Synergy Antwerp on voyage 642S. The vessel is scheduled to call at Gdańsk between 15 and 17 October 2026.

A new route in the ONE network

ONE says Poland Egypt Express will complement its existing Levant Express (LEX) service and increase its capacity to handle cargo between the Baltic, Northern Europe and Egypt. The carrier points to additional container capacity and greater flexibility in planning shipments within its European network.

For Gdańsk, the key development is the port's direct inclusion in a regular service to Alexandria, one of Egypt's major container ports. The new service provides another transport option for cargo moving between Poland and the eastern Mediterranean.
