Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority exercised his statutory pre-emptive right to real estate sold by Morska Stocznia Remontowa "Gryfia" S.A. shipyard.

Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority (ZMPSiŚ) exercised the right of the entity managing the seaport to sell real estate located within sea ports and purchased from MSR Gryfia real estate in Świnoujście with an area of 21 ha.

- Acquiring real estate for the purposes of port development is one of the tasks of the entity managing a seaport, listed in the Act on Sea Ports and Harbors - informed Monika Woźniak-Lewandowska from the Marketing and Communication Department of the ZMPSiŚ.

In addition, the acquisition of real estate dedicated to the activities of the ZMPSiŚ in the seaport of Świnoujście was also indicated in the currently applicable "Strategy for the development of seaports in Szczecin and Świnoujście until 2027" and in the "Development plan of the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority until 2030" prepared on the basis of this document.

Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority will announce at the turn of Q2 / Q3 2022 the tender, the subject of which will be to make the newly acquired real estate available to participants in port trading.
