Bota Green Offshore officially owns two crew transfer vessels that will be used to transport groups of technicians and equipment to offshore wind farms.

– We are pleased to announce that we have completed the process of taking over two CTVs by Bota Green Offshore. This morning, the second vessel - m/v Bota Wind I - arrived at the port of Szczecin. She will undergo appropriate shipyard and preparatory works for the upcoming season - said Ernest Czermański, president of Bota Green Offshore.

Thus, the company has two CTVs that have so far worked on offshore wind farm projects in the North Sea. Both ships are already in Szczecin. As we reported earlier, along with the ships themselves, the company contracted the crews working on them.

The Polish company took over the vessels with the intention of using them in the construction and operation of offshore wind farms in the Polish zone of the Baltic Sea. Talks with their developers have already been initiated. However, BGO does not rule out contracting Bota Wind I and Bota Wind II for operations in other waters of Europe.

Bota Wind I and Bota Wind II are 22-meter-long catamarans that can carry 24 wind farm service technicians each. Both CTVs are equipped with an autonomous crane and cargo space. They are also characterized by a low draft, which will allow them to use service ports such as Ustka, Łeba and Władysławowo.
